Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 15 July 2026 · Effective 15 July 2026
This policy sets the ground rules for using Classiry. It works together with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Breaking it can lead to content removal, or to your account being limited or closed.
1. Content you may not post
- Anything illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Content that sexualises minors in any way, or otherwise puts children at risk. We report this to the authorities.
- Hate, harassment, threats, doxxing, or incitement to violence against people or groups.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other rights. See our Copyright policy.
- Malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive content designed to defraud.
- Spam, referral-link flooding, vote manipulation, and misleading titles or tags.
2. How to treat other people
Treat other members like neighbours. Attack the idea, not the person. No harassment, no impersonation, no coordinated pile-ons, and do not misuse the report button to target people you disagree with.
3. Marketplace rules
If you sell, list only goods you have the right to sell, describe them honestly, and deliver what you promise. No counterfeit, stolen, or infringing goods, and nothing whose sale is illegal. Buyers should read listings carefully and raise problems through the order, not by taking matters into their own hands.
4. Security and the platform
- Do not try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to Classiry or other accounts.
- Do not scrape or harvest data except as our public interfaces allow.
- Do not bypass rate limits, moderation, or other technical protections.
- Report security issues responsibly through our contact page before disclosing them.
5. How we enforce this
Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may remove content or listings, add a warning, limit features, suspend, or close an account, and where required report to the authorities. We aim to be fair and, where it is reasonable and lawful, to tell you what happened and how to appeal.
6. Reporting a problem
To report a specific post or listing, use the report button on it. For anything else, including safety concerns, reach us through our contact page and choose the “Safety / report abuse” topic.
